One of the most inspiring events in the Symphony's year is to witness thousands of young people experiencing their first LIVE Symphony concert!
SOST strives to create a bridge between music and academic learning, drawing examples of literary knowledge, math association, and other related studies that coincide with standardized testing and music lessons. And, to make these short concerts fun and accessible, we play more than Beethoven and Mozart to draw association with commonly heard repertoire.
This educational concert is free to students thanks to the generous support of our sponsors: In loving memory of Mrs. Carol Tyrrell Kyle by Mrs. Emilie Kyle Chenault, Community Bank, Jan Allred & Family, BBVA Compass, McDonalds - Brian & Cathie Ellis, Reaud Charitable Foundation, Foundation for Southeast Texas, The Wilton & Effie May Hebert Foundation, The Dujay Charitable Foundation - Katheryn Mapes Fund, The Symphony League of Beaumont. This program sponsored in part by the Southeast Texas Arts Council through grants from the Steinhagen and Curtis Foundations.
Please call the Symphony office at 892-2257 to register your class.
