SOST is committed to helping young students explore the wonders of playing an instrument or being part of a musical group. Through a special series of small ensembles or full orchestra, performances take place at various schools throughout Southeast Texas or for that first concert hall experience at the Julie Rogers Theatre during the spring semester. In today’s world of instant technology, witnessing the creation of live music, especially in a symphonic setting, is a new experience.
