The Symphony of Southeast Texas is excited to announce our Home for the Holidays concert of the 2022-23 season, Platinum Jubilee: a Celebration of Resilience.
Join us Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 3pm when the SOST will ring in the holiday season with a concert including your favorite Christmas music at the Julie Rogers Theatre. The SOST orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Chelsea Tipton II, will perform a program full of seasonal treats, along with our featured artist Daniel Emmet.
A finalist on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, Daniel Emmet is known for his wide range of expression that spans the musical genres from rock to pop, to opera, all the while singing in seven languages! Fans from all over the world are abuzz with praise for this new artist, winning their hearts not only with his signature, powerhouse vocals, but also with his infectious smile, boyish charm, and sense of humor.

The Symphony of Southeast Texas, celebrating its 70th season, is a regional, professional orchestra based in Beaumont, Texas. The Symphony performs a number of subscription concerts, educational programs, and other events throughout Southeast Texas each year. SOST’s home base is the Julie Rogers Theatre in downtown Beaumont. The orchestra is composed of local musicians from the Beaumont vicinity, as well as many musicians from the Houston and Lake Charles areas.
