A Commitment To Our Community
Whether it’s a Youth Education Concert or a Holiday concert, these concerts are designed to provide specific sectors of our community with music that will enhance the life and cultural richness.
Youth Concerts
Sponsorship ranges from $2,000 to $10,000, given once per season are free to children in public, private or home schools, and are designed to support State educational guidelines which provide goals to teachers. A program book is sent in advance, along with fun things for kids like quizzes and puzzles. Beyond the scope of the concert, a questionnaire is sent to each participating school getting feedback from students and teachers alike. In 2020 and 2021, we did concert videos as we could not meet in person. In 2022 we resumed the in-person concerts.
Holiday Pops
Sponsorship ranges: $2,500 to $8,000. Sponsor benefits follow the Full and Partial supporter benefit packages. SOST fosters the holiday spirit each year. The Christmas Holiday concert is a popular program with a reduced price of $30 or $20 dollars per ticket and is perennially a sell-out concert. This program features the music of the season and usually includes treats for kids at the conclusion of the one hour program.
Fourth of July
Sponsorship ranges: $2,500 to $10,000. Sponsor benefits follow the Full and Partial supporter benefit packages. A free concert to the public always finds a full house and features an hour-long program complete with fireworks provided at the conclusion of the show. Multiple sponsors are secured to offset the concert expenses due to free admission to the public.

Individual Donations
SOST relies significantly on the generosity of many individuals. Since its inception, SOST’s individual contributions have enabled us to provide a great variety of music, support a full-scale symphonic orchestra with competitive wages for musicians, attract first-rate guest artists, and perform in a hall that is both technically and aesthetically excellent. Individual contributions signal a special understanding of the intricacies of maintaining a professional orchestra, knowing that ticket income alone will not provide the resources for us to realize our musical goals. No donation is too small, many come with special recognition and benefits.
