We invite you to join us this season to rediscover your Symphony of Southeast Texas!
We have our first POPS Series concert on October 14th, Mandy Barnett’s Nashville Songbook. The “Nashville Songbook” is a collection of songs that made Nashville famous as “Music City”—some of the most influential and iconic country and pop standards ever written, originally recorded by artists as diverse as Roy Orbison, Patsy Cline, Elvis Presley, Tammy Wynette, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Eddy Arnold, The Everly Brothers, Brenda Lee, and more, and written by the likes of Harlan Howard, Hank Cochran, Willie Nelson, Don Gibson, Cindy Walker, etc.
“Mandy Barnett, an esteemed figure in the realm of country music, graces our stage here in Southeast Texas, much to our delight,” said Maestro Tipton. “Her melodious and awe-inspiring voice has captured hearts across the globe and has earned her a revered spot in the Grand Ole Opry. This is a concert not to be missed, as it promises to be a memorable and unforgettable evening of music and fun!”
Mandy Barnett’s pure, commanding voice and artistry make these songs her very own. Spend an enchanting night of timeless music with one of today’s premier vocalists with her “Nashville Songbook,” a show that appeals to music fans of all types—who will undoubtedly want to sing along to some of the best-loved tunes of all time!
