People often ask me what does the SOST do during the summer months. Symphony of Southeast Texas Announces Program Changes
The Symphony of Southeast Texas is saddened by the devastating tragedy of violinist Yu Zhao Gu’s death at Saturday evening’s concert, April 6th. Mr. Gu was a treasured member of the violin section of SOST for decades. Our deepest sympathy goes to his wife, Ying, also a member of the violin section, and his family. Symphony of Southeast Texas Loses Beloved Violinist
The Symphony of Southeast Texas (SOST) is devasted to announce the loss of long-standing member, Yu Zhao Gu. During the orchestra’s performance on Saturday evening, Mr. Gu suffered a heart attack while on stage. He received immediate care by several physicians, but unfortunately, he was later pronounced deceased at Christus St. Elizabeth hospital.
